Perhaps one of Europe’s most promising symphonic metal acts, the Malmö-based five-piece have officially joined the GLA roster. After unleashing their sophomore album Until The End – released in February 2018 via Sound Pollution and recently made available in Asia via Marquee Inc./Avalon – the “Seductive, Style, Monumental” Eleine are slowly but surely establishing themselves as one of the most interesting acts in the female-fronted metal scenario. The fact that their LP went straight to #1 in the Swedish charts within the first week of its release only goes to show the potential of this Swedish powerhouse. The national press also agrees: according to Sweden Rock Festival, “You can’t resist the urge to be both fascinated and spellbound”, and Rockbladet adds: “At the end of the show I had to ask myself, did this really happened?” – indeed, it did.
Not only has Eleine been able to prove their capabilities in the studio, the group has also made a name for itslef by sharing the stage with well-established international acts such as Moonspell, W.A.S.P. and Arch Enemy (whom they will be touring with later this Summer), as well performing at several prestigious festivals – both local and overseas. In fact, in late 2017 the band had their first show in Tokyo, Japan at the Loud ‘n Metal Mania Festival with great success, which lead the band to land a record deal with the aforementioned Japanese label Marquee Inc./Avalon.
Aside from their upcoming Summer shows with Arch Enemy and The Unguided, Eleine have recently been confirmed to perform at UK’s Mammothfest 2018 in Brighton. Their performance will take place on 5th October and we’re really looking forward. More dates to be announced soon!
